My Arms Are Longer Now signs a publishing deal with Jackbox Games

Jackbox Games have been known for years for their Party Pack series, which contains a host of mini-games, they have now announced they are stepping into the world of game publishing and the first title is the stealth thief game My Arms Are Longer Now, which is made here in Australia. Check out the reveal trailer for the game below.

My Arms Are Longer Now is a stealth thief game, where you will have to use your extremely long arms to make off with the goods in each location. Yes, with your disgusting long arm, you’ll avoid security systems, steal whatever isn’t bolted down, put a sock on your hand and flirt with a lonely guard - whatever it takes to pull off the perfect heist!

β€œFunny, creative, and hardworking people are behind everything we make at Jackbox. As we explored expanding our work into publishing, we knew that we wanted to find the right team to help us make a first impression. It was clear from our first meeting with Matthew and the team that Toot shares our creative priorities and ambitions for delivering distinct, unconventional styles of entertainment and play, even despite the thousands of miles that separate us. Our players have asked us for a fun single-player experience in Jackbox’s tone and we look forward to seeing My Arms Are Longer Now deliver on that.”
— Mike Bilder, CEO, Jackbox Games

The game is designed here in Australia by local group Toot Studios and is being led by designer Matthew Jackson, who was previously at FireMonkeys, where they were game designer on Need for Speed: No Limits, so it is quite the change.

If you are looking at the game and thinking that it look familiar, that is because it uses the art created by Millie Holton, the creator of the Long Head web comedy series, the game is just swapping out a long head for a long arm.

The game is coming to PC this Spring and will release via Steam and the Epic Game Store.
