MotoGP 22 is racing onto all platforms this April

Koch Media and developer Milestone have announced that MotoGP 22 will race onto all platforms this April, revealing the first look at this years installment of the long running series, with the new trailer below.

If you are wondering why the trailer was promoting 2009 in it, for MotoGP 22, players will be able to experience the 2009 and 2022 seasons of the sport. The 2009 season is considered to be one of the best in modern times. Beyond just replaying a past season though, players will also enjoy a real docu-film narrated by Mark Neale, director of the best MotoGP documentaries, with more than 50 minutes of original footage from the 2009 Season. So not only will players will find themselves in the boots of legendary riders such as Rossi, Pedrosa, Stoner and Lorenzo, all the while trying to replicate history, you can see how they actually did it.

The game also includes new tutorials for those players who long to enjoy the series, but maybe don’t understand all the mechanics. Another level for this entry is that the game will have an adaptive difficulty setting, meaning that in-game pop-up messages, suggesting how to adapt and modify the difficulty level based on their skills. For example, the game could recommend lowering the difficulty if players don’t complete specific challenges or enable some helps in case of too many falls, or even suggest playing the tutorial dedicated to the tire consumption in case they finished a race with tyres in bad conditions. These hints will appear at the end of the race and players are free to follow these suggestions or not.

MotoGP 22 includes also the full 2022 season with all the official content, including 120+ official riders and 20+ official circuits. Additionally, 70+ Historic Riders and bikes are available to bring back all the emotions of MotoGP legends.

MotoGP 22 will be released on April 21st, 2022 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, PC via Steam and both next gen platforms, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Those who get it on the last generations can also get a free upgrade to the current gens and while the game does offer 2 player split-screen and online play, the Switch version will not have either of those modes.
