Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection has been announced
Capcom kicked off the recent Nintendo Direct with the reveal of Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection, an all-new game that players between two waring nations as the world edges closer to disaster. Check out the reveal trailer below.
Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection tells the story of two nations on the path to ruin. Amidst the growing crystal encroachment facing the lands of Azuria and Vermeil, the discovery of a mysterious egg gives cause for hope.
The egg hatches and a Rathalos is born, which is not the only surprise. It has been so long since anyone has seen a Rathalos, that they were thought to be extinct, the big surprise is that a second Rathalos is in that same egg. Both of them have a mark, in the same spot and it just so happens to look like a mark that lead to a civil war 200 years earlier.
The game will see players take control of the heir to Azuria, either male or female in blue below and as the sole rider to the Rathalos, they will help the kingdom however they can. But after a life-changing event takes place they will join forces with Eleanor, the princess of Vermeil, in red below and together they will attempt to find a solution to the issues between the two nations and the larger threat to the world.
The game is coming in 2026 for Nintendo Switch 2, PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, but a more exact release date is unknown at this time.
