Lumines Arise will rise up this November, with a limited time demo out now

Enhance, the folks behind Rez and Tetris Effect have announced that Lumines Arise will release this November onto PlayStation 5 and in order for players to get a taste of the game now, a limited time demo has been released. For the demo though, you had best be quick as it won’t be around after September 3rd, check out the below video to learn more about it.
It is not just news of the release date and a demo, as there is also a reveal of a new game mode in Lumines Arise, Burst Battle. Basically a game mode that pits two players against each other, and by clearing Lumines from the field you can send them to your opponent, giving them less space to work with. You generate these attacks by clearing 2×2 (or larger) Squares, or by triggering the all-new Burst mechanic (where you have a few Timeline passes to build a single color match as large as possible). The bigger the Burst, the larger the deluge your opponent will face! Meanwhile, garbage blocks can pile up on the sides, shrinking the available playfield—only matching blocks adjacent to garbage will clear it out. This new game mode is in the demo, but it is only limited to matchmaking games, the full game will have more options for players to choose from.
The game can be pre-ordered now in both a standard and digital deluxe offering, with the latter coming with for exclusive avatar for you to use in the game, Tetris Effect: Connected, Rez Infinite, Humanity, and Astro Bot.
If you want to pre-order the game or grab the demo for yourself on PlayStation 5, you can do that here. There is also a demo for the game on PC that you can get via Steam here.
