Lords of the Fallen drops 20 minutes of new gameplay

CI Games and developer Hexworks have released another lengthy gameplay video for Lords of the Fallen, which is getting closer to its release. This latest video shows off the games world, which will cause problems to the player and the games drop-in and drop-out co-op experience, check it out.

As well as numerous other gameplay details, much is also revealed about the fully revised combat system players will use in Lords of the Fallen, seamlessly interweaving melee, magic and ranged abilities. Alongside standard attacks, players can map up to four additional magic or ranged skills to their controller for immediate access. This not only allows for far greater combat variety, with the ability to string together an almost endless number of combos, but rapidly speeds up combat, reducing the need to swap out abilities.

The team at Hexworks is thrilled to finally share an extended gameplay preview and reveal numerous new details of our dark fantasy action-RPG. We have passionately carved our own path in this increasingly popular genre, and we are particularly excited to see how players will approach the game’s unique dual-world mechanic when it releases this October.

The wait for the game isn’t too much longer with its October 13th release date moving up very quickly. Once it does arrive, the game will be out for Xbox Series X|S, PC and PlayStation 5.
