Legacy of Kain: Ascendance has been announced and arrives next month
Crystal Dynamics did not announce just one Legacy of Kain title at the recent State of Play, they announced two, with Legacy of Kain: Ascendance. Even better, the game is out next month, check out the reveal trailer for the game.
Nosgoth’s dark fantasy world is brought to life through animated cut scenes and beautifully crafted pixel art gameplay. Each level filled with environmental challenges and puzzles that flow seamlessly into combat. Fly, fight, and unravel the past in a world of collapsing kingdoms, haunted ruins, and shattered timelines.
Overwhelm the battlefield with Kain’s vampiric powers. Play Raziel before his fall as a human Sarafan knight, then take flight for the first time in his vampiric form. The Vampire Elaleth introduces an aggressive playstyle focused on fast relentless offense.
While the games visual style is vastly different, there will be a lot of familiarity as Simon Templeman as Kain, Michael Bell as Raziel, Anna Gunn as Ariel and Richard Doyle as Moebius, are all back voicing the character they have been since the start.
The game itself is coming out on March 31st for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store
