Kena: Bridge of Spirits has been summoned and will come to Switch 2

Developer Ember Lab might be busy with their recently announced Kena: Scars of Kosmora, but they have still found time to reveal that Kena: Bridge of Spirits will release on Nintendo Switch 2 soon. Check out the first look at the game running on the Nintendo console.
In the game players take on the role of Kena, and become immersed in a deeply heart-felt narrative, as they explore, solve puzzles, and engage in fast-paced combat. Help Kena untangle the past in her effort to free the spirits trapped in a forgotten village with the aid of timid, yet powerful spirit companions, the Rot.
“We’re incredibly excited to bring Kena’s journey to a whole new audience, giving players the chance to experience her story at home or on the go with Nintendo Switch 2. As our studio’s debut title, the overwhelming support and love the game has received over the years has truly meant a great deal to our team. We’re beyond thrilled that even more players will now be able to fully immerse themselves in Kena’s world and become part of her journey.”
The game first released on PlayStation, before going to PC and then eventually Xbox, you can read our original review for the game here. Since the games release, a number of updates were given to the game, including when it landed on other platforms, so the Nintendo Switch 2 release should be the ultimate version of the game.
The Nintendo Switch 2 version comes complete with the Anniversary DLC, which features Charmstones, Spirit Guide Trials, Kena Outfits, and accessibility features. It also features New Game+ mode, which allows players who’ve completed the game to restart Kena’s journey with all of their previously unlocked abilities, including upgrades, outfits, Rot, and more, as well as redesigned and more challenging combat encounters.
The game is available now on PC, PlayStation and Xbox, with the Nintendo Switch 2 version coming later soon, all we have is ‘Spring’ 2026, which means sometime this Autumn for us, so it could be tomorrow or in May.
