Intel are set to launch their Arc GPU's in a few months

Announcing back in August of 2021 that they were stepping into the dedicated graphics market, Intel have now announced when gamers can expect to get hands on with the ARC range and that is during the second quarter of 2022, as in as early as six weeks from now.

As you can see from the tweet above, the company is first going to launch their ARC GPU’s into laptops to start with, the first of which is the ACER Swift X, but there are more to come, with HP, Asus, Dell, MSI and more committed to using them.

Quarter 2 though, that is April through June, is when the dedicated cards for desktop gamers will start to be revealed. One of the key features of the ARC line up is their super sampling, known as XeSS or Xe Super Sampling, if you prefer.

This tech takes your gaming experience to the next level with AI-enhanced upscaling that enables an increased output resolution while maintaining high image fidelity at maximum performance. Designed with all gamers in mind, XeSS is unlocked to work on widely available hardware. Check out how it looks in the comparison image below.

If the image above doesn’t seem that different to you, not to worry, Intel have a video as well.

As for exact dates and prices, that we don’t yet known, but at least there is a timeframe to pay attention to, when we get the other information, we will be sure to let you know.
