Grid Legends is racing onto Switch 2 this month

When Feral Interactive announced that GRID Legends was coming to Nintendo Switch 2 ‘early next year’, I like many others assumed they meant mid-February to early March, somewhere in that window. But nope, the team have announced that the game is hitting Switch 2 on January 29th.
GRID Legends offers an expansive Career Mode filled with hundreds of events staged across 24 spectacular locations. Players can choose from a generous selection of real-world production models, blistering hypercars, rugged trucks and precision open-wheelers to compete across 10 high-octane motorsport disciplines. The game also includes a distinctive live-action story mode, “Driven to Glory,” that dramatizes the twists and turns of the GRID World Series. Additionally, racers can craft their own experiences in the highly customisable Race Creator mode, and challenge themselves to set blistering times in Time Trial with their best laps posted to online leaderboards.
We reviewed the game when it first launched back in 2022 and while we enjoyed it, there were some issues. The games post launch support saw some of those address and with the Switch 2 releasing including all those and all the DLC, hopefully it makes for a better game.
The Switch 2 release will also offer up a few game modes, Graphics and Performance modes are you standard ones that offer up the prettiest game or the most FPS, but there are two more here. Balanced and Battery Saver modes when played handheld, these are designed to allow players to set their visual and performance preferences, ensuring they can game for as long as they want, whilst on the go.
Pre-orders are open now, with the game coming on January 29th for Switch 2.
