Ghost of Tsushima finally has a release date

After being revealed, what feels like years ago, Ghost of Tsushima finally has a release date, players can now stop into the padded sandals of Jin Sakai on June 26. Celebrating this, they have released a new trailer for the game, that takes a look at some of the characters that you will meet on the journey, check it out.

In the trailer the first person that you see is Jin’s uncle, Shimura, the jito (lord) of Tsushima and a father figure to Jin. Having trained Jin since childhood in the traditional ways of the samurai, he grows increasingly concerned by the tactics Jin starts to adopt as he abandons his teachings and becomes The Ghost.

The second important character that the trailer highlights is Khotun Khan. The Khan is the leader of the invading Mongol army and a ruthless, cunning enemy who uses everything he knows about the samurai to try to destroy them. He’s a brutal, unrelenting adversary that Jin will quickly learn not to underestimate.

The game is getting a few special editions, including a pretty sweet Collector’s Edition, but right now, the only confirmed options are the Standard Edition and the Digital Deluxe Edition, the latter of which comes with the game, as you might expect and a few digital goods, including a commentary track.
