Fight the corporate power when Full Metal Schoolgirl arrives this October

D3Publisher and developer Yukes have revealed a new action shooter game in Full Metal Schoolgirl, which is set to release this October 23rd for PC, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2. Check out the trailer for the game below.

Set in the year 2089, Full Metal Schoolgirl throws players into a dystopian Japan where the nation’s economy is dominated by Meternal Jobz, a corrupt corporate superpower whose zombified cyborg labour force, the “Working Dead,” are capable of working nonstop. As a fully armed cyborg schoolgirl heroine, players must ascend Meternal Jobz’s ever-shifting 100-story skyscraper, dismantling waves of undead salarymen, the dastardly CEO, and twisted security systems on a mission of personal revenge before their evil plans come to fruition.

This is a game about rebellion and chaos. It’s a thrilling close-quarters battle experience set in a brutal satire of late-stage capitalism powered by bullets, blades, and the support of your livestream audience.
— Nobuyuki Okajima, Producer at D3Publisher

Players will get the chance to step into the role of a cyborg heroine armed with an arsenal of high-powered weaponry and cutting-edge mechanical upgrades in this exhilarating action shooter. Infiltrate Meternal Jobz, the world’s most ruthless mega-corporation, and fight back against undead “Working Dead”, the relentless corporate grunts that will stop at nothing to protect their employer.

As either Akemi or Ryoko, players will need to climb the 100-floor tower, where the evil CEO Kyohei waits at the top. Climb higher while navigating an evolving structure as each new run introduces changing layouts and obstacles from its trap-like security system. Own the battlefield to reach the top. You won’t be fighting barehanded as Hakase will outfit you with upgrades, as long as you have the donations from your live stream.

The game has a release date of October 23rd for PC, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2.
