Elevate your typing experience with the new Logitech Alto Keys K98M

Logitech recently launched the Alto Keys K98M here in Australia, after it released in China earlier this year. The keyboard, which is mechanical has the typing experience of a soft type board, bringing the response of the former, but the quiet of the latter.
The big reason for the quiet is what is called the UniCushion Gasket Design, which sounds weird I know. This cushion absorbs vibrations as you type, which means the clicking of the keys is basically faded down to nothing.
The keyboard also features a white backlight, to keep your keys illuminated and speaking of keys, those are also swappable to other Marble Switch keys.
“People want their workspace to be more than functional, they want it to inspire them. With Alto Keys K98M, we set out to create a mechanical keyboard that feels personal and expressive, not just practical. From the satisfying sound and feel of each keystroke to the ability to swap keys and make it your own, Alto Keys transforms an everyday tool into something that brings joy, creativity, and focus back to the desk.”
While it is a full size board in terms of keys offered, it is actually a slightly smaller board size, allowing it to fit on even the tiniest of desks. Plus, as it’s a Logitech item, users can enjoy up to 12 months of wireless use with Bluetooth Low Energy or Logi Bolt USB Receiver, and keep going with USB-C recharging even as you type.
The keyboard is available now at stores like JB HiFi and Amazon, with a RRP of $169.95
