Divinity is the next game from Larian Studios
Larian Studios were at The Game Awards 2025 with a big reveal, naming that statue that was in the desert. Called the Joshua Tree, it has a big role in Divinity, which is their next game. Check out the games debut trailer below, well on YouTube as you need to be signed in to view it and for good reason.
The game is set within the world of Divinity but the developers are keen to stress that you won’t need to have played Divinity: Original Sin or Divinity: Original Sin II to understand what is going on here, it is a standalone experience. If you have played those games, then you will get extra from the games lore and places, but again it is not required.
“Despite our long history with the series, this is our first game entitled ‘Divinity.’ We’re ready to bring everything we’ve done previously into one place. This marks the beginning of something with more breadth, depth, and intimacy than anything we’ve created before. We’ve been building toward this moment ever since we took our fate into our own hands. This is the Divinity we’ve always wanted to make and you’re going to have loads of fun with it.”
The game is in development, but there were no platforms or release dates provided, though PC is almost assuredly a confirmed platform.
