Disney+ is bringing some big names to the screen this July
Disney have announced the line up for July for Disney+ which is kicking off with Hamilton and ending with the Muppets, making it one big and varied month, check out the trailer for Hamilton below.
The filmed version of the original Broadway smash hit “Hamilton” combines the best elements of live theatre, film and streaming in an astounding blend of hip-hop, jazz, R&B and Broadway. Presenting the tale of American founding father Alexander Hamilton, this revolutionary moment in theatre is the story of America then, told by America now.
On July 24, viewers will be taken off the beaten path, into the more remote regions of our planet in National Geographic’s Rogue Trip. Led by ABC correspondent Bob Woodruff and his 28-year-old son, Mack Woodruff, the two will take viewers on a journey full of riveting insight through a collection of adventures that expose the grit and glamour of travel. This is a deeply personal adventure for both Bob and Mack: Bob was severely injured from a roadside bomb while reporting in Iraq in 2006. But instead of teaching his children to fear the outside world, Bob shares this trip with his son, firm in the belief that even in the world’s troubled places, most people are hopeful and kind. Bob and Mack share inside jokes, dirty laundry, and cramped hotel rooms in this father-son guide to the beautiful, breathtaking and often hopeful experiences to be had on the edges of conflict and chaos.
The end of the month, will see the Muppets return in their all new show, Muppets Now. Scooter rushes to make the delivery deadlines for the brand-new Muppet streaming series - which is due NOW - navigating whatever obstacles, distractions, and complications the rest of the Muppet gang throws at him.
