DiRT Rally 2.0 is bringing back classic Colin McRae inspired content

Codemasters have announced that on March 24, a new content pack for DiRT Rally 2.0 will be released, included in the season pass for those that own it, that will add new locations, tracks, cars and over 40 racing scenarios inspired by the great Colin McRae.

“DiRT Rally 2.0 has been a wild and exciting ride, and the ‘FLAT OUT’ pack is the perfect way to conclude the journey,” said Ross Gowing, DiRT Rally 2.0 Game Director at Codemasters. “It’s 25 years since Colin became World Champion and the content is our tribute to the greatest rally driver of his generation.”

The content pack, called the Flat Out pack, will add new locations from Scotland in Perth and Kinross, with a dozen new routes to experience. On top of that, two new cars will be included, both from Subaru, the Impreza S4 Rally and the Legacy RS models, as well as the previously mentioned scenarios.

Rally fans will test their driving acumen and take Colin’s seat with a range of challenges including time penalties, damaged equipment and mechanical failure. The scenarios take place in nine of the cars made famous throughout Colin’s career, including many iconic vehicles from previous Colin McRae Rally and DiRT games.
