Daredevil: Born Again reveals new details about season 2

As part of their showings at New York Comic Con, Marvel confirmed that Daredevil Born Again will be back for Season 2 this coming March and that Jessica Jones will play a big role in the show.
Much of the cast of the previous season will be returning, with Charlie Cox and Vincent D'Onofrio leading the charge as Daredevil and Kingpin respectively.
“Matt and Fisk made a pact at the beginning of season 1, which was one of the great scenes we shot in that season. By the time we get to season 2, that deal is off the table. All bets are off. The world has changed a lot for Matt and Super Heroes in general. It’s a much more sinister world for people who are trying to do the right thing.”
Joining the cast will be Krysten Ritter, who is picking back up the leather jacket of Jessica Jones, who made her debut on Netflix as part of her own series. The characters began to cross over and teamed up in The Defenders.
“It was surreal but also as if no time had passed. I love Charlie so much as a person. I love being with him and acting with him, and I love playing these characters. It felt big and celebratory and larger than life.”
One single new still from the show has been released.
Revealed after the panel was that Matthew Lillard would be joining the cast as the antagonist Mr Charles. The character has been described as being a political powerhouse like Fisk, but opposed to him. Which means Fisk has to deal with Mr Charles in the meeting room and Daredevil on the streets. Lillard has a few roles known to him, most will recognise him as one of the killers in the original Scream, or as Shaggy in the live action Scooby-Doo movies, and voicing the animated character since 2009.
The second season of Daredevil: Born Again will begin to air this March on Disney+, but an exact date is not yet known.
