In a move that is not surprising to anyone, Activision have announced that Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time is coming to Switch and PC, as well as getting actual next gen versions of the game as well.

The Switch version of the game is coming on March 12, the PC version is coming later in the year, while the trailer above was more about the game hitting new platforms, the one below is for the Switch and you can see that the game looks really good on the portable platform.

March 12 will also be the day that the next gen versions of the game release, if you own the game now on PlayStation 4 or Xbox One, you will get a free next-gen upgrade, within the same console family, to the PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X|S.

Those who get the next-gen versions can look forward to 4K visuals running at 60fps. Additionally, players will also enjoy quicker loading times to dive into the wumpa-eating action and 3D audio that will immerse them in all-new dimensions.

PlayStation 5 owners in particular will be in for an extra treat with DualSense wireless controllers bringing adaptive triggers to players’ fingertips. Fans will now be able to feel the force of Neo Cortex’s DNA-changing blaster and experience the grip as they grapple with Tawna’s Hookshot. Additionally, PlayStation 5’s Activity Card feature will give players a clear breakdown of their progress throughout each of the game’s dimensions, providing guidance to achieve objectives and more.
