Code Vein II gets new details from the games producer
As part of their recent Bandai Namco ‘Summer’ Showcase, Code Vein II was included with the games producer Keita Iizuka revealing new details about the games characters and story. Check it out below.
In addition to the video, Iizuka-san released a letter as well, explaining some details.
Hello everyone. I'm Iizuka, producer of CODE VEIN II.
This title is a brand new installment to the CODE VEIN series, which originally released in 2019.
"CODE VEIN takes place in a not-so-distant collapsed future, and features a dramatic story where revenants fight against their impending doom, and gameplay with challenging action and exploration.
We hope to provide an evolved gaming experience to the original.
Of course, we brought back familiar features like the Drain Attacks, Partner System, and Blood Code.
Please look forward to it.
The story is set in a world where humans and revenants coexist.
There, a phenomenon called ""the Resurgence"" is causing deformations in various things, and the ""Luna Rapacis"" is causing revenants turn into Horrors; both these things seemingly leading to the destruction of the world.
The protagonist, a Revenant Hunter capable of fighting these horrors, dies during one of their missions.
A revenant girl named Lou saves the protagonist by sharing her heart with them.
Lou also has the power to travel through time, and with it, the protagonist travels 100 years into the past to save the world from destruction.
In addition to Lou, the protagonist will encounter various revenants both in the past and in the present.
Please look forward to a dramatic story that unfolds across time.
This title will be releasing on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Steam in 2026.

As the letter above states, the game will release sometime in 2026 for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The team released two new screens the other day for the game, which are below.
In addition, the screens below are from the reveal, but they give you a good look at Lou, the girl below with the red eyes.
And the final screens are the Protagonist, your character in the game.
