Capture modern gaming content on your terms with the new Elgato HD60 X
Elgato have announced that they have a new capture unit for gamers and content creators, that will provide support for all current hardware and even some future ones.
The device is very simple in its design, it has a HDMI in, HDMI out and a USB-C connection to a PC or Mac on the back and just a headphone hack on the front
With it, you can capture PlayStation or Xbox gameplay like a pro and the best part, you can use your favourite broadcast app to do it, all the while capturing at either 4K30 or 1080p60 HDR10.
Because this device was built for modern consoles, you can play the latest games as intended with VRR (Variable Refresh Rate, something the PlayStation 5 now has) support and up to 4K60 HDR10 passthrough. You can even enjoy high frame rate gameplay such as 1440p120 or 1080p240. HD60 X connects to your console and sends raw video in real time to both your gaming screen and computer, giving you the freedom to stream, record and edit on your terms.
