Capcom Fighting Collection 2 is getting more content thanks to a new update

Over the weekend at EVO 2025, Capcom revealed that a new update is coming to Capcom Fighting Collection 2 and it will bring new content to the game. Specifically it will add new fighters to Street Fighter Alpha 3 Upper, along with new artwork, music and more. Check out the trailer below to see it all.

The update will arrive to all versions of the game on August 7, so later this week and as per the official blurb from Capcom is adding new characters to one game, new music to a few and new art for even more.

Enjoy new quality of life upgrades, brand-new artwork, remix tracks from CAP-JAMS, and additional content for Street Fighter Alpha 3 UPPER, including Maki, Yun, Eagle, and Ingrid!

We reviewed the collection when it released earlier this year and found it to be a great release, though it was missing some content. So this update is a good sign that maybe we will get some of those missing games.
