Call of Duty Modern Warfare III has been announced

Activision have announced that Call of Duty is coming back for another year, but unlike the past decade and change, this years entry is a sequel to the release last year, even though the lead developers are different.

The game is set to launch on November 10, but beyond that date, there are no details announced for the game, including platforms. While PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S are likely, there could be the chance that the series drops last-gen consoles.

We know that the game is being developed by Sledgehammer Games, who were the leads on 2021’s Vanguard, which makes their lead role here a little different, as its not the 3 year cycle we have come to expect.

More details for the game are expected in the coming weeks, but given its a direct sequel to last years game, it could be worth replaying that game for more insight.
