Borderlands 4 has shifted its release date up a week

In a move that is becoming more common than it used to, 2K and Gearbox have announced that the release date for Borderlands 4 has changed and will now release earlier than planned. So, the new date is September 12, but the Nintendo Switch 2 version is not included in that it seems.
There is no new trailer for the new release date and that is because the promised Borderlands 4 State of Play is happening tomorrow morning, 7am AEST and will offer up a 20-minute look into the game. You can check out the games last trailer below, though you will need to watch on YouTube due to the violence in the trailer.
The game is set to release now on September 12 for PlayStation 5, PC and Xbox Series X|S.
