Black Future '88 rewinds on PC and Switch this November

Good Shepherd Entertainment and developers SuperScarySnakes have announced that on November 21st, PC and Switch gamers will be able to test themselves in an all new way, when Black Future ‘88 is released. The game is a roguelike, which changes upon each death, but more than that, the game learns, so your little tricks and hacks, will fail, forcing you to evolve your skills, as the game does as well, check out the latest trailer below.

Set in a grim alternate history where it’s always 1988, Black Future ‘88 puts players on a non-stop dungeon-crawling ascent against homicidal robots, cutthroats, bosses and more to exact revenge on the man who destroyed the world. As one of the last remaining survivors of a nuclear cataclysm, you’ll climb a procedurally generated tower through a merciless onslaught of fire, lasers and steel.

The only way to kill your mark before your heart explodes is strategically choosing and combining dozens of unique guns, buffs and curses. Choose from several characters with a huge arsenal of weapons and powers as you shoot, slash and dash through anything standing between you and the top of the world.

For something special to those on PC, co-op will be available, without the need for the second person to own the game, something that harkens back to the days of download play on DS. This is a new feature from Steam and will be included in the game from launch of it, so no need to worry about anything else to setup.

I even had the chance to play the game back at E3 2018 and have been waiting for its release since then, so this is great news.
