Battlefield 2042 - Bargain Guide
Battlefield 2042 may have have been delayed a little, but that’s ok, it is bringing the series back to modern-ish times, and though while it won’t have a single player campaign, it should offer plenty of bang for the gaming buck.
Deals are a little tricky on this one, if you go retail and you want both next gen and past gen versions, you HAVE to buy the next gen version. If you buy last gen, it will play on your next gen system, but you won’t get the next gen enhancements, like increased player counts.
Going digital, you can simply opt to buy the Cross-gen bundle and get both, so it is smoother, sadly there is no way of upgrading, at this time, your standard retail purchase to the next gen edition, so be careful on that.
