8BitDo claim they have the Ultimate Controller and they might be right

Controller makers 8bitdo have announced an all-new controller for Switch and PC, bringing together all the know-how that they have accumulated over the years, in order to make the Ultimate Controller.

The biggest addition to this controller, is that it is using a Hall Effect Sensing Joystick, meaning that its using a magnetic field to determine the position of the stick, which should eliminate the drift that current controllers are prone to experiencing. If you want to learn the difference between the old way of using sticks and the new way, check out this video from iFixIt.

As far as platforms go, it should work with almost every platform that supports Bluetooth 5.0, so your Switch and PC, but as it supports Bluetooth, it should work on just about every other device, outside of the Xbox consoles, they use a different method.

Local pricing and a release has not yet been confirmed, but the controller is set to ship this October 28th in the USA, so we should get it around then as well. As for features, check out the full list of features and functions each controller comes with below.
