Generation Zero is set to throw you into danger and the 80's this March

Avalanche Studios have announced that Generation Zero, their own game, will be releasing on March 26th for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.

The game takes place in 1980's Sweden, where you are your friends have returned from some time on a small island, only to find no-one else around town, but there are large machines that are quite dangerous.

Go it alone, or team-up with up to three of your friends in seamless co-op multiplayer. Collaborate and combine your unique skills to take down enemies, support downed friends by reviving them, and share the loot after an enemy is defeated.

All enemies are persistently simulated in the world and roam the landscape with intent and purpose. When you manage to destroy a specific enemy component, be it armour, weapons or sensory equipment, the damage is permanent. Enemies will bear those scars until you face them again, whether that is minutes, hours or weeks later.

While I had chance to see the game behind closed doors at E3 last year, I have not been able to play it, but I really want to.

The game is out March 26th, so not too long now. A collectors edition has also been announced, but no word yet on if that is coming to Australia.
