Edifier announced a range of audio devices at CES 2019
The Consumer Electronics Show, more commonly known as CES is once again delivering the hardware that many did not know they needed, but while a lot of attention is on TV's and some once off items, Audiophiles can always look forward to a plethora of goods, this year Edifier is offering a range, unlike anyone else.
This year they debuted the W860NB, S3000Pro and TWS2 , but while the names make little sense, the products themselves do. Starting off with the S3000Pro, these wireless 2.0 speakers will deliver powerful audio, no matter where you set them up and anywhere you can is possible, thanks to their bluetooth connection.
The latest in its series of monitor speakers, Edifier has crafted the S3000Pro with the finest components. The S3000Pro speakers’ 6.5-inch aluminum diaphragm bass unit and 107mm planar silk tweeters deliver 256 watts total RMS. More than enough power to fill any theatre room or entertainment space with authentic, rich sound the S3000Pro are an upgrade any audiophile or entry-level listener will appreciate.
If that was not enough for you, the S3000Pro speakers feature multiple connections including USB, optical, coaxial, auxiliary and balanced inputs. Bluetooth V5.0 with Qualcomm®aptX TM HD decoding capability also allows users to pair multiple audio devices with the speakers.
For those looking for something on the smaller side, there are the W860NB, a set of headphones with active noise cancellation and will connect to almost all devices, as they support Bluetooth 4.1, the most common in the connection type.
The headphones are also promising 25 hours of battery, meaning you should be able to enjoy any flight in the world, without needing to charge them. The ear cups are made from leather, with a soft foam insert and the outside of them, have smart touch capabilities, allowing you to answer calls, control your music and more with just the touch of your finger.
If those are too bulky for you, then there is always the TWS2, in ear buds, that offer not only Bluetooth 5 for a solid connection, with a promised 12 hours of playback.
The TWS2 earbuds feature an 8mm magnetic drive for perfect performance and dynamic range. Each earbud functions independently and can be programmed for music and calls according to the listener’s needs. The TWS2 earbuds have a 3-hour music playback battery life, with an extra 9 hours of battery charging provided by the docking case. The earbuds have an IPX4 splash resistance rating.
