Alienware announces the m15 gaming laptop - hands on available at PAX Australia

Alienware has announced the Alienware m15, a new take on their gaming laptop, with a cool industrial design featuring magnesium alloy surfaces built for both power and portability. Available in Epic Silver and Nebula Red,

“As the gaming community evolves, so do the requirements of the devices gamers use. Australian and New Zealand gamers have a high take up of new technology and, like everyone else, are increasingly on the go – whether they’re commuting to and from work or meeting up with friends. Our State of Gaming survey discovered that 43 per cent of ANZ gamers love travelling and 60 per cent love spending time with friends, so the demand for a premium, ultra-portable gaming laptop is there. With the new Alienware m15 being thinner and lighter without compromising on power and performance, gamers can be confident that their game-play on the go will not only be powerful, but comfortable as well.” said Ben Jackson, General Manager, Consumer and Small Business, Dell ANZ.

Optimised for performance, quality and maximum mobility, the design and engineering teams worked to pack it all into a small form factor. Its sleek design features a narrow side bezel to maximise screen space to view explosive action and another first, a numeric keypad on a sub-17” Alienware laptop. The new Alienware m series keyboard even features 1.4mm of key travel, anti-ghosting keys and four Alien-FX enabled zones to light up the room during any gameplay, while also supporting in game lighting reactions for over 150 game titles.

Average weight:  2.16 Kg. and comes in a size that measures 21 mm. x 275 mm. x 363 mm. If you are heading to PAX Australia, Alienware will once again be on hand to showcase their products, and you can get hands on with the laptop there.
