Bandai Namco have announced that Dark Souls Remastered is coming to Nintendo Switch, as well as PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC via Steam. The game was announced during the Nintendo Direct Mini that went live overnight, the announcement trailer is below.



Players will once again be able to step into the world of Dark Souls and Nintendo fans will get their first chance to experience the game on that platform, Bandai Namco and From Software have mentioned that the Switch version will use the console specific features, but nothing has been detailed yet.

The game will run at 60fps on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC, the Switch version has not had any details revealed. Dark Souls Remastered includes the main game plus the Artorias of the Abyss DLC, so no worries about any lack of content. 

Finally, the game will offer a new multiplayer mode called, The Way of the Multiplayer and it will support up to 6 players, with each platform getting their own dedicated servers. We don't have any in game screens yet, but we do have box art, Dark Souls Remastered is coming on May 25th for all platforms.
