Shovel Knight Will Be On Switch At Launch

Yacht Club Games has announced that when Nintendo Switch releases on March 3rd, Shovel Knight Treasure Trove will be available to buy, which will include the original game, now called Shovel Knight Shovel of Hope, the first expansion Shovel Knight Plague of Shadows and the new Shovel Knight Spectre of Torment.

From their official site release:
We’ve been working alongside Nintendo to make this launch day release possible. We’re happy we could be there on Day 1– considering we formally wrapped up development just last week!
But there’s no time to sit on a parapet and look wistfully into the distance!! Our full attention is on releasing the Specter of Torment and Treasure Trove Update everywhere in April. This is a huge undertaking for us, but we’re working tirelessly to get everything out as fast as we can!
The game can be bought be bought with all three parts, or if you have the game already on other platforms if you want the new campaign only, then you can buy Spectre of Torment on its own.

If you already own Shovel Knight on any other platform, then you will get the Spectre of Torment free when it releases in April. The included platforms are Wii U, 3DS, PS4, Vita, PS3, Xbox One,  PC, Linux, Mac, Steam, Gog.com, Humble Store and Amazon Fire TV, so almost everywhere.

If you don't actually own the game yet on any platform, from February 23rd until March 2, every version of the game currently released will see a discount applied of 33%, making it perfect for you to jump in.
