PlayStation returned to PAX Australia, this time delivering a one, two punch with Horizon Zero Dawn playable for the first time and the PlayStation 4 Pro on hands to wow players.

The line for Horizon Zero Dawn was so long, it averaged 90 minutes each day of the show, but keeping people occupied were cosplayers wandering about, including someone dressed like Aloy.

The star of the show was the PlayStation 4 Pro console, with members from PlayStation showing it off all day, swapping between Horizon Zero Dawn and Infamous First Light. When Horizon Zero Dawn was being demoed, the team were able to swap from the Pro enabled version of the game, to the standard PS4 version and the difference was something to behold, with small elements like the lighting and how it looks more realistic in Pro enabled mode.

PlayStation VR had a strong presence, with bookings taken for all three days, there were plenty of people eager to try the product.

There were also recently released games for all to play

And for those that really wanted to become part of the world, a special photo op was set up for The Last Guardian
