Blizzard announced a whole lot of things during Blizzcon, from a new character in Overwatch, to new content for Diablo 3 and details for Starcraft 2's latest multiplayer enhancements.

Starting with Overwatch, Blizzard confirmed Sombra as a new character for the game, she was introduced with another character short.

One of the world’s most notorious hackers, Sombra is an offensive hero who specialises in hit-and-run tactics. Sombra’s Thermoptic Camo ability lets her sneak behind enemy lines, while her Translocator device teleports her out of danger. She can Hack a target to reduce their damage and deny them health packs. Her ultimate ability, EMP, can turn the tide of a team fight by disabling shields and shutting down enemies’ powers.

In addition two new maps were also announced, Oasis and Ecopoint Antartica. There’s trouble in paradise as conflict breaks out in Oasis, a brand-new Control map set in a shining jewel of prosperity surrounded by a lifeless desert.

Bundle up for a journey to Ecopoint: Antarctica, a compact new arena map featuring multiple new game modes, including a 3-vs.-3 battle and 1-on-1 duel. Face off at the remote scientific outpost where brilliant climatologist Mei spent years in cryostasis following a catastrophic polar storm.

Switching to Diablo 3, Blizzard have announced that as it is 20 years since the first game released, a celebration will take place over the next 12 months. Diablo III will pay homage to its roots with a special 20th Anniversary Dungeon that will transport players to the dark and gritty labyrinth from the original Diablo. Diablo III also welcomes its newest playable hero—the Necromancer!

In addition, the original diablo dungeon is making a return, as well as classic characters coming back as epic boss fights.

Finally, the final news from Starcraft 2 is the changes that have been done to the games multiplayer. While the changes are way to numerous to list here, you can read the full list on the official site. Here is just a quick example of how things are different.

So there was a lot announced, with just these three games, but there is still more about Hearthstone, Overwatch League and more, so be sure to hit up the official site.
