Xbox have announced that Gears of War 4 is getting a special edition console, in the form of the new Xbox One S and a special controller.

Its blood-red exterior is scored by faux claw marks, a nod to the upcoming game's new Swarm menace. The limited edition Gears of War 4 Xbox One S sports a 2TB hard drive and a custom "Crimson Omen" controller that borrows the console's color scheme. The controller features the same distinctive claw marks as the console along with other nifty flourishes, such as a bloody thumbprint splashed across the D-pad. It will also be sold separately.

The cuts that you see on the top left of the machine are actually burnt into the case, by a laser, which is strong enough to see fire to the surface.

Included is a digital copy of the game, which also grants players early access to the title as well, but if you still wanted more, a limited edition controller will also be released on its own and features the same textured grip found on the Xbox One Elite Controller, as well as the enhanced bluetooth functions. It will be released at a premium price here, as it also comes packed in with digital goods for the game.

You can expect to pick this all up in stores October 7th, but I would order, to ensure you don't miss out.
