Nintendo eShop Turns 5 Years Old, Celebrates With A Big Sale

Nintendo Australia has confirmed that in honor of the 5th anniversary of the Nintendo eShop, which debuted on Nintendo 3DS, starting this friday will be a massive sale on both Nintendo 3DS and Wii U.

Games like Metroid Prime Trilogy and Super Mario Galaxy 2 on the Wii Virtual Console platform are 50% off, but also games like Steamworld Dig and Gunman Clive on Nintendo 3DS are also 50% off. The full list of discounts can be found below, but bare in mind, these prices are based off the discounts given to the European listings, so they might not be the same for here, but I am expecting they would be.

The sale starts this Friday June 10 and will run until June 23rd and with E3 in the mix there, additional games could be added as well.
