Star Wars Battlefront Outer Rim DLC Details

Electronic Arts and DICE have announced details for the new DLC coming to Star Wars Battlefront, called Outer Rim.

Two new locations will be available for players to explore, though they will be on existing planets. Tattooine fans will now be able to play on and in Jabba's Palace, while fans of the planet Sullest will now get to play around a factory.

But outside of those new locations, the expansion will also bring two new hero characters, Greedo and Nien Nunb if you can call Greedo a hero.

But if you are a little let down by the locations and heroes, then get ready as an all new game mode is also coming. Called Extraction, Rebel forces have entered some of the most dangerous places in the Outer Rim in order to extract a valuable shipment of resources. Now they must bring the shipment to their transport ship before time runs out. The Empire has arrived to stop them from reaching the extraction point.

Finally, there are also new weapons coming to the game. The new Relby V-10 rifle and DT-12 blaster pistol and collect and equip the Scatter Gun, Dioxis Grenade, and Adrenaline Stim Star Cards.
