Pokemon Fans Flock To Midnight Launch - Good Time Had By All

Nintendo Australia held a launch event at the EB Games Swanston St store overnight to celebrate the release of Pokemon Omega Sapphire and Alpha Ruby.

Fans were also able to pick up New Nintendo 3DS and New Nintendo 3DS XL for the first time outside of Japan at the event. It is reported over 1000 people attended the event, Eggmond from GoNintendo was even on hand and has written up a nice report on the event.

Fans of course where there to pick up the remakes of what many believe to be the best Pokemon games and if looking at the number of people there above is an indication that could be true.
