Nintendo hosted another Nintendo Direct this morning and there was a ton of content in it, but perhaps the biggest news was that opening. If you have not seen the Nintendo Direct, you can watch it here.



Yes, The Legend of Zelda Majora's Mask is coming to Nintendo 3DS next year, after a lot of people claiming it was coming and a lot of hints from Nintendo, we finally got an official announcement. Launching in autumn 2015, The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D brings Link’s engrossing, spooky quest through the mysterious world of Termina to a handheld system for the first time with enhanced 3D graphics and added features to for users to streamline gameplay for a more comfortable experience. Also releasing at launch, and to be available for pre-order from selected retailers, The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D Special Edition is a limited quantity software offering including a specially-designed SteelBook™, a copy of the game delivered in its standalone packaging, a Majora’s Mask pin badge, and a double-sided poster showcasing the game’s iconic art style.  

Next up we got some more information on Codename S.T.E.A.M. which was announced at E3.



Code Name: S.T.E.A.M is a turn-based tactical action RPG that features characters like… Abraham Lincoln? That’s right: Abraham Lincoln tasks the secret agents of S.T.E.A.M., who have steam-powered weapons at their disposal, to stop an alien invasion. Introduced today was a special character ability called Overwatch, enabling characters to save up some steam and unleash surprise attacks on enemies in their attack turn. Code Name: S.T.E.A.M releases on Nintendo 3DS in May 2015.

We were also treated to more details for Pokemon Alpha Sapphire and Omega Ruby and the Nintendo 2DS bundles that are coming to retail. Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate was shown to be receiving new content for the Feilines, Mario and Luigi outfits. Sonic Boom Shattered Crystal was up next, with the announcement that a demo is now available on the Nintendo 3DS eShop. We end the 3DS news with the announcement that Ultimate NES Remix for Nintendo 3DS is launching this weekend in stores, but anyone who wants to purchase it digitally can do so now.

In Wii U news, we finally got more details on what else we can expect to see with the Mario Kart 8 DLC that is releasing this month, including a release date. For a little more about it, check out the video below in which Andre from Gamexplain goes through his impressions about the DLC.



We got some new details on how Amiibo will work with the already released titles of Mario Kart 8 and Hyrule Warriors, you can see how they will work in the two videos below that go into detail about each of the game, first up Mario Kart 8





Captain Toad Treasure Tracker is coming out way in January and we got a trailer that gives you an idea of the 70+ stages coming with the game.



Splatoon got a brand new trailer that provides some details on the games single player mode.



The single player mode will pits a player’s squid-like character against an army of octopi equipped with an arsenal of ink weaponry. Splatoon will launch exclusively for Wii U in the second quarter of 2015.

We also got a nice update for Xenoblade Chronicles X which is coming to Wii U in 2015



And finally, we also got a trailer that confirms Duck Hunt Dog is coming to the Wii U version of Super Smash Bros. You need to watch this below.
