EA SPORTS FIFA World Open - Beta now open

SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA – December 18, 2013 – Electronic Arts Inc. (NASDAQ: EA) today announced that EA SPORTS™ FIFA World, a new free-to-play*, downloadable game for PC, is now entering Open Beta in Australia. Featuring the award-winning** EA SPORTS FIFA HD console gameplay, FIFA Ultimate Team, and Seasons, EA SPORTS FIFA World delivers a fun, authentic and immersive football experience that is synonymous with the FIFA franchise. With 600 clubs from over 30 officially licensed leagues, gamers will have access to their favorite players and clubs, including the officially licensed A-League and Australian national team, and new to the Open Beta – the Bundesliga of Germany.

After a successful Closed Beta that saw more than 120,000 registrants, EA SPORTS FIFA World now boasts new features developed based on community feedback from four Closed Beta sessions. Topping the list of development additions include gamepad controller support, match invites, and a Social Hub where fans can share in-game content with friends playing FIFA World.
