Hi there Maxi Geek fans,

Let me introduce myself. I am Matt and your new movie reviewer. Thanks to the Maxi Geek heads of state I am being allowed to avail you all with my wit and wisdom of all things cinema.  Ok it is more wit then wisdom but I digress. We will have fun.

So what is first on my plate? Well I have been handed a couple DVDs from Madman to give a try. Including From Up On Poppy Hill the latest from Goro Miyazaki. 

Also besides reviewing the wonderful movies that studios are more then happy to send out for free (thank you studios) I will also be reviewing new releases and some old classics.
