The Acclaim name was big in the 90s and early 00s, with titles like Turok and South Park being their big series, but they had a lot more. The company went bankrupt in 2004 and most of it was sold off to other folks, but now it is making a comeback, well sort of.

The original name was Acclaim Entertainment and while this new one is using the same name, in between there was Acclaim Games Incorporated, which went out of business in 2010.

The big thing with this new attempt with the name, is that we have no idea what they are working on, will older games that Acclaim owned be given a new life, or will they just be a publish for new titles.
