Zero Hour is coming to Battlefield 2042 and includes some big fixes
Electronic Arts and DICE have announced that Battlefield 2042, is ready to kick off its first season, with Zero Hour launching later tomorrow. Check out the gameplay trailer to get a glimpse as to what is included.
One of the big new additions is that of Exposure, a new map that is set within the Canadian Wilderness, that is a facility built within the side of a mountain. The big catch here though is that an earthquake hit, pulling down some of the mountain, exposing it to the outside.
Below you will find the zones for Conquest, when playing in 64 player or more than 64 player matches, there is really a lot going on in this new map.
Zero Hour will also bring a new specialist, Ewelina or Lis if you prefer, who has the ability to ping all damaged vehicles with her gadget, but what is great is that she comes with a guided rocket launcher as her weapon. Lis falls within the Engineer class and while rockets or heavy explosives are nothing new for them, this one is special as you will control its flight path.
As you will have see in the trailer and the images above, stealth helicopters are also making an appearance in the game now, making for some really unique gameplay match ups. These helicopters have missiles and guns as standard, but when they switch to stealth, they lose those and obtain bombs they can drop. When they are in stealth mode, lock on attacks won’t work on them, plus they will no longer show up on radar.

NEW VEHICLES: STEALTH HELICOPTERS Pilot the new RAH-68 Huron and YG-99 Hannibal Gunships, equipped with radar deflection and advanced defensive capabilities.
NEW WEAPON: GHOSTMAKER R10 CROSSBOW Quiet but deadly, this short- to mid-range crossbow is a versatile weapon. Choose from regular, light, heavy, and explosive ammo and adapt to different combat situations.
NEW IN ALL-OUT WARFARE: BSV-M MARKSMAN RIFLE Take out enemies from afar with a Sniper Rifle ideal for mid-range combat. This integrally suppressed DMR fires high power and is absolutely lethal in the right hands.
NEW GADGET: SMOKE GRENADE LAUNCHER Provide extra cover for your squad by laying down a wall of smoke. Use the Smoke Grenade Launcher in both offensive and defensive situations to open up new windows of opportunity
In addition Portal, the mode that lets you build your own Battlefield experiences is getting a big update with the launch of the season, but no new game content will be included.
Finally, with the launch of Season 1 - Zero Hour, there is a Battle Pass. For those that do decide to play through all 100 tiers in the Season 1 Battle Pass, they will unlock Free and Premium content. Free tiers give access to Weapons, Vehicles, Cosmetics, and more. Completing Premium tiers unlocks Skins, BFC, Player Cards, Weapon Charms, Takedowns, and more.
