Yu-Gi-Oh! Early Days Collection announced

During a 25th anniversary celebration event in Tokyo, Konami revealed a suite of new Yu-Gi-Oh! experiences, including a VR game, but the big news was that a collection of some of the original games would be making its way to Switch and PC.

Details about all the games and features in the collection are light, but we do know two games that are being included:

  • Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters 4: Battle of Great Duelists

  • Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters 6: Expert 2

The first game was released for the Game Boy Color and the second was for the Game Boy Advance. What makes things more intriguing is that the first game was never released outside of Japan before. The titles are the only things we do know, they have not said if the first ever western release of Battle of Great Duelists will be localised or not.

More details are expected in the future, but there is no timeline for those, or the release of the collection, so we will just need to wait and see. But for fans of the series, there are a lot of 25th anniversary items to look forward to.
