Xbox is bringing back FanFest, in time for their upcoming showcase

Xbox have announced that with the return of the Xbox & Bethesda Gaming Showcase, the Xbox FanFest is also making a return with a special watch party for the show.

Details are light though we do know it will be somewhere in Melbourne, expect them to start early though, as the showcase itself begins at 3am AEST. In the past few years, they have almost coupled the showcase with a movie as well and given the current partnership with Disney, a showing of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is possible.

If you want to register for FanFest, you can do it here, but again specifics about the watch party are not known, so just be aware of that. There is no cost to register, but there might be a cost with the watch party, we will have to wait and see.

Those who do attend the Melbourne event will likely get a chance to meet Major Nelson, as Larry Hryb has confirmed he is making the trek downunder and will watch the show live with the local audience.

Once you have your FanFest account created, or logged in if you already have one, you just need to follow these steps:

  1. Once logged in, click on “FanFest Exclusives” on the navigation bar.

  2. Click “opt in” for the FanFest Virtual Watch Party

  3. Be sure to hit submit at the bottom of the page to submit your entry.
