Warlock is a brand new Dungeons & Dragons game coming in 2027
Wizards of the Coast and developer Invoke have announced Warlock, a brand new, single-player game that puts players in the role of Kaatri, a warrior who uses otherworldy magic to fight back against the darkness. Check out the teaser trailer below.
The game will challenge players to use magic to overcome a wide range of challenges. In exploration, every spell is a key unlocking new paths and possibilities in a beautiful yet unsettling world. When facing enemies, magic and melee combine for a combat experience that is both tactical and visceral.
Kaatri is voiced and performed by Tricia Helfer, known for her work on the rebooted Battlestar Galactica series, amongst many. She was on stage at The Game Awards to reveal the title to the world. Sadly, this trailer is all we have as we won’t see actual gameplay until sometime in the Winter months of next year, likely during one of the many showcases that happen around that time.

The game is in development for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S and is aiming for a 2027 release year, but no firmer time than that is known.
