Turning Red gets a teaser trailer and release date
Disney and Pixar have released the first teaser trailer for their next movie, Turning Red, which tells the story of a young girl, who when she gets to excited, turns into a giant red panda, check it out.
The movie tells the tale of Mei Lee, a 13-year-old who suddenly “poofs” into a giant red panda when she gets too excited (which is practically ALWAYS), she is voiced by Rosalie Chiang. Sandra Oh (“The Chair,” “Killing Eve”) voices Mei Lee’s protective, if not slightly overbearing mother, Ming, who is never far from her daughter—an unfortunate reality for the teenager.
The movie is being directed by Domee Shi, who won an Oscar for her animated short Bao, which you can watch a clip of that here, while she was the first woman to direct a short for Pixar, Turning Red is her theatrical directing debut.
The movie is set release in cinemas around the country on March 31st next year.
