The Xbox is going dark, well the Xbox Series S console is

At the end of the Xbox Games Showcase, Xbox head Phil Spencer revealed a new colour of the Xbox Series S, Carbon Black, but it also comes with double the storage, with 1tb included.

While the White Xbox Series S is available now for $499.95 RRP and comes with 512gb of storage, the Carbon Black will be available from September 12 and the price for it will be $549.95 RRP. Putting the price into context, if you wanted to get the white console then add more storage, you are looking to spend another $250, so getting the black console is the most affordable way.

Orders will be available here direct from Microsoft soon, but gaming retailers will also likely take order, check with your prefered.
