The Wave:3 MK.2 has been revealed by Elgato

Elgato have announced a new wave of audio devices, all designed to make streaming and production work easier than ever before. Their latest microphone is the Wave:3 MK.2, which aims to deliver professional quality audio, without any of the hassle. Check out the video below to learn all about it.
Setup is simple, you just plug it in via USB and then you can begin to use it, but if you take the time to set it up properly you can enjoy even better results. As it connects via USB it will work on your Windows computer, your Mac computer and even USB-C mobile and tablets.
The revised microphone uses a supercardioid capsule tuned with LEWITT to deliver focused, detailed vocals while minimizing ambient noise. A multifunction dial with an LED ring offers intuitive control over gain and monitoring, and a capacitive mute provides silent operation. Auto Gain Wizard streamlines setup, and two monitoring modes let users listen to either DSP-processed audio or the fully integrated signal with VST effects. All settings are saved on the microphone itself for consistent behaviour across systems.
On the front of the mic is the new multifunction dial, which lets you adjust your volume, that of your headphones and even the mix, all without having to touch your computer directly. The LED ring around the dial also lets you see the levels for your microphone, again ensuring you don’t get distracted by trying to adjust things on the computer.
The microphone will be available to buy from Amazon.
