The Mortal Kombat 1 beta is happening in a few weeks
WB Games and Netherrealm Studios have announced the dates for the Mortal Kombat 1 beta, which will be available only for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
The dates in question are August 18 to August 21, at least for North America. Given the start times have not been announced, the beta could shift to the 19th for us.

Access to the beta is open to all players on those consoles, but you do need to pre-order the game to get in, that is the only requirement.
The game itself will also arrive onto PC and Switch, they are just not in the beta. Currently the game is set to release on September 14th, but unless the beta is horrible beyond all reckoning, it should be fine.
