The Monkey Island Anthology has been reworked and looks better than ever
When Limited Run Games first announced that a Monkey Island Collection was coming, people cheered and when they revealed what was in it, people did not cheer. Realising they had not delivered something people would want, they took a step back and tried again and now, they are back and the second attempt is amazing.
The collection still includes the five games, statue, shadow-box, Big Whoop ticket, Disc 22 and a signed authenticity card, but now includes the following:
Murray Candle Holder
Collectable Mini-Poster - featuring maps and promo art on the reverse
4-disc DVD-Rom Collection
“Ask me about Loom” button
Two Code wheels
A refined enamel pin set
and a 160 page art book
In addition the box it all comes in has changed from a generic black box, with the logo, to a highly detailed box, featuring art that might be custom, as I can’t find it anywhere.
The best news though is that order will open at 2am on Saturday December 4, but unlike a lot of the other collections, this one will be open until January 20, meaning you have plenty of time to get your order in. The cost of this collection is $174.99 USD, or roughly $240 here.
