The first wave of companies that are setting up shop at PAX Australia have been announced

With PAX Australia less than two months away, plans are starting to be finalised for the show, the first one that is coming back to the real world since 2019. Now that some plans are locked in, we have our first confirmed attendees, from those with things to share.

For those who are all about the video game side of the show, here are the first companies to announce their presence:

  • Sega

  • Square Enix - specifically for FINAL FANTASY® XIV Online

  • HoYoverse

  • Devolver Digital

  • Riot Games

Twitch will also be at the show, but as they don’t make games, they are not being included in the above list. If the name HoYoverse confuses you, then you don’t play Genshin Impact as that is the company behind that game.

For those who are more about that sweet tech, this is the line up of announced hardware makers:

  • AMD

  • Logitech G

  • ASUS

  • HyperX

  • Lenovo

Both of those groups are just the first wave of confirmed attendees, other companies may confirm later today, tomorrow or a week out from the show.

The show is taking place across three days, October 7 - 9 and tickets are going fast, so if you want to get in to check things out and you don’t have a ticket, you had best get them asap.
